"The White Snake" is a interactive ritual and healing performance created in collaboration by Amanda Stone and VnessWolfCHild. This project focuses on resurrecting the long forgotten tradition of myth telling and utilizes ceremony as a tool for self exploration and transformation. Using their bodies, the artists will perform cathartic movements, posture meditations, as well as personal rituals. The display of these practices is meant to communicate and further their development. The performance is presented within an installation. After the performance, the installation will exist as documentation of what has taken place, in addition to providing a public space for personal exploration and introspection.
